Jeffrey Vinokur, The Dancing Scientist: So You Think You Can Do Science

Jeffrey Vinokur, 24, holds an M.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA, has 20+ million YouTube views as a hip hop dancer, and recently appeared on 11 episodes of the Discovery Channel show, Daily Planet. Vinokur has a contagious passion for science and specializes in getting young audiences excited through 'WOW' demonstrations. His 50 min stage show has toured 3 times with over 250+ presentations at schools from San Francisco to Boston. Vinokur's combination of science and hip hop dancing has landed him on stage at the World Science Festival, USA Science and Engineering Festival, Smithsonian Institute, and at the Singapore Science Festival. When Vinokur is not performing, he can be found in the lab at UCLA, conducting his PhD research on biofuels.
